Receiving Blanket in Wool / Cotton Blend

Traditional Baby blanket - this is the best of both worlds! A 50% Cotton, 50% lambswool 2 ply baby receiving shawl made in Nottingham using age old methods on Victorian frames, originally used to make lace. This pattern is very unusual, with a modern jacquard pattern in the central panel, and deep lacy scalloped edging. A larger than average receiving blanket 137 x 137 cm or 54 x 54 ' in pure white. Gorgeous feel; would make a great Christening gift to be treasured for generations. These wool blend receiving blankets have recently graced the British  Royal Family and celebrities newborn babies.
