Mohair Throws

The throw arrived within 48hrs of placing my order so I was very pleased as it was a present for my daughter and I was able to hand it over immediately. It is very warm and large enough to be useful in various situations. I agree that there seems to be quite a lot of fluff shed by the throw to start with but hope that it will calm down over time. I ordered the 'Ocean' throw for my mother for Christmas 2009 and have to say that she was very lucky that it actually turned up in her Christmas stocking as I really fell in love with the intense colour. I therefore ordered the 'Limmerick' for myself and it has been in daily use since it arrived. It is very light - in fact you don't notice the weight of it at all - it's so warm and cosy . It seems to stay fresh and clean despite my greyhound sneaking onto the sofa to share it with me. The only down side is that the throw sheds somewhat but that is mohair for you. Well worth the brush down after use! It's versitile as it can be used as a throw on the sofa or bed, carried in the car or as a wrap if the central heating breaks down!
