Have just bought a natural white baby sheepskin to give to my nephew's newborn. Opted for this as my daughter was given one by her mother-in-law 18 months ago and said it was the best baby present she had received. It helps her son to sleep at home, in the pram, the car seat and travelling cot. It washes beautifully. She uses it in both winter and summer. Thoroughly recommend it.

Just brilliant. Our week old daughter loves it. Sleeps beautifully on it and stays a lovely temperature. She can tell when we put her down on the Moses basket without it and tends to wake more easily. With it she just nods off and sleeps. Cannot recommend it enough. (Posted on 17/09/2011)

I bought this for my baby when she was a few weeks old, she loves to be held and cuddled all the time. When her sheepskin arrived I popped down on it and she was quite happy. Life saver! My 5 yr old daughter wants one too, they both lie on it when they are tired. Dont know why anyone would bother with fancy new products! Brilliant, traditional and british. My son is nearly a year old now and I wouldn't be without his sheepskin. We have definitely got our money's worth! We used it in his pram when he was tiny and he now sleeps on it in his cot. It's been washed a dozen times or more and always looks like new. It keeps him warm in the winter and stops him getting too hot in the summer. We roll it up and take it with us if we're away from home. It make's any travel cot feel more like home. I can see many future uses for it too so feel it is amazing value for money. We bought this sheepskin for our 7yr old daughter for Christmas. We use it on her chair (which is wooden and cold to sit on during the winter) and with her booster seat in the car. I purchased this for my son to get him used to sleeping in his cot. It has worked a treat - it provides a soft, but not too soft, surface for him to sleep on.
