Children's Mohair Explorer Socks

I found the Wool Company by accident, while looking for baby blankets for a friend, and was tempted by a few other goodies. Service was quick, the e-mails I got were informative about delivery and I was able to choose date for delivery (quite a novelty since I live in the Scottish islands and we sometimes have to persuade companies they CAN deliver here). The cotton blankets are just what I wanted, but the bonus was the woollen children's welly socks, which are in beautiful colours, lovely and comfortable and apparently machine-washable too (not yet tested). Great socks, my boys love them, they go to kindergarten in wellies each day and these are perfect. Don't seem to get smelly either so you don't need to wash them so much. did wash the blue ones and they came out perfect. (Posted on 01/10/2010)

I bought these for my son to wear with his wellies. They are perfect, he loves them and they are a great fit and very soft and comfy. Excellent will buy again. Customer service was great and very quick delivery by first class Royal Mail post.

My children are outdoor children. They are out on the farm and the fields in all weathers. This past winter has been cold, snowy and windy for much longer than usual. Inside wellies or boots, these socks stood up to feeding sheep in three feet of snow, cross country skiing in white out conditions and playing in sodden wet spring snow. I can honestly say they were thoroughly tested. The socks were on every day and we haven't managed to wear them out yet. I am delighted that outgrown pairs are still fit for a third winter at least, with my next child. (Posted on 08/05/2010)

The socks are excellent with the quality and they kept my kids' feet warm for the whole winter. My kids loved them so much they wanted to wear everyday. So I ordered enough pairs for them in order they could wear them everyday in the winter. I also recommended to my friend and her kids loved the socks too. I bought these socks, last winter, for my grandson to wear with his wellies. They fit really well and keep his feet very warm - my daughter was so pleased with them we decided some more were needed, specially as we woke up to a white world this morning. (Posted on 18/12/2009)

So are you coming back to Truro this Christmas and if so, when?
The other question is, I would like to buy mohair gardening socks for a couple, so are the sizes suitable for an average lady and average man?
