The medium weight bamboo duvet is specified for maximum comfort in most temperatures from Spring to Autumn - in the UK and northern Europe. However many of our British customers use this weight of duvet year round, except perhaps for the hottest and coldest nights.
100% natural fibre duvet, made with filling of 80% bamboo fibre and 20% maize fibre, quilted in finest cotton sateen casing.
These duvets gently hug the body, thanks to their superb drape and the clever 'body-fit' quilting design, which even has a two-person body fit for double and larger sizes. The wonderful drape of these duvets only adds to the sense of luxurious comfort.
The bamboo in this duvet and the pure cotton that encases it has been independently certified as completely free of any nasty chemicals to the highly respected standard "Oeko-Tex 100".
The light, fluffy filling is created by layering ultra-thin gauzy layers of bamboo and maize fibres. This means every layer (laid one on top of the other in a criss-cross pattern) is light, smooth, and soft and has maximum air volume, which in turn gives the best breathability, warmth, and fluffiness.
Our duvets all come complete with perfectly made buttonholes with a purpose-made popper system to allow for connecting with our 180gsm duvets for a really 'toasty' night's sleep.

NB. Tog ratings are not directly comparable between duvets made with different fillings. Wool and Bamboo fillings have better breathability properties than other duvet fillings due to their ability to manage a microclimate in a bed. Therefore the average sleeper will be more comfortable in a wider range of environmental temperatures than under a duvet of manmade fibre filling, or down.
