Discover the ultimate in luxury and comfort with our collection of large sheepskin rugs. Each rug is crafted from premium-quality sheepskins, sewn together to create generously sized pieces that are perfect for adding a touch of warmth and elegance to and will indeed transform any room.

Extra-large and multiple sewn-together sheepskin rugs are kept in stock for immediate delivery. These multi-skin rugs are wonderfully luxurious - just kick off your shoes and indulge! If you are looking for something bigger than our single sheepskin rugs, then why not choose an extra-large rug or multiple skins sewn together?

Choose from Doubles (2 skins), Quads (4), Sexto (6), and Octo (8), and if you need something even larger, just ask - we can manage huge multi-skin rugs up to 99! We keep stock here of the most popular colours, but can also order for you a particular colour if you cannot see what you are looking for. If you are looking for something even larger we can certainly help -  just get in touch!

Our collection includes gorgeous natural undyed British sheepskins (limited and seasonal stock) or our British, Australian, and New Zealand dyed skins in an array of glorious colours. The natural sheepskin range is more expensive as they take far longer to carefully hand match than the dyed ones, because we carefully match multiple skin rugs for complementary markings, texture, thickness and colours

Sadly, some of the natural ranges (undyed natural sheepskins) shown in the single skin ranges are not available as large multi-skin rugs, as they are extremely difficult and time-consuming to match: sewing even two together highlights their uniqueness; they are not an easy match and require large quantities to choose from to find a satisfactory combo.

Commonly Asked Questions

Are sheepskin rugs a good idea?

Absolutely! Sheepskins deter dirt and bacteria due to their natural resistance to mould, dust mites, and bed bugs. This is an integral property of sheepskin rugs and never goes away. Their wicking properties draw moisture away from the skin, preventing bacterial growth.

How do you tell real vs. fake sheepskin?

Gently pull the wool away from the backing. For real sheepskin, the wool won't detach easily, and the underside will be smooth like leather or suede. Fake sheepskin easily loses its pile, revealing a woven texture underneath.

Why do sheepskin rugs turn yellow?

White sheepskin rugs will slowly turn a more creamy colour over time due to the ageing of wool and the oxidation of its cellulose. This is know as ‘yellowing’, is natural an is experienced by many natural products. Exposure to air and sunlight accelerates the  process, causing the natural wool colour to change.

How often should you wash a sheepskin rug?

Not often! Sheepskin, like all wool, shirks dirt and is naturally stain-resistant. Wash only if necessary. With proper care, you might never need to wash it fully. If an accident occurs requiring more than spot cleaning, usually brushing is sufficient to restore it, unlike with manmade fibre rugs, but you can handwash the rug in lukewarm water with sheepskin detergent. Please consult the care instructions included with your sheepskin rug for directions.

How long do sheepskin rugs last?

With regular maintenance, like brushing or vacuuming, shaking, and spot-cleaning spills promptly, you can enjoy the beauty and comfort of your sheepskin rug for a lifetime.
