Our Natural Undyed Sheepskins are exactly that.
This is a selection of undyed natural colour sheepskin rugs and other items made with sheepskins that retain their original markings. The natural markings and colourings are what make them special, and of course, each is unique.
Being undyed, they are always softer and silkier than the equivalent sheepskin that has been dyed. They are all completely colour-fast. These skins have been tanned to a very high standard, so they will shed hair far less than most sheepskins you will ever come across and will give long service.
They are surprisingly easy to care for as sheepskin naturally dispels dirt (unlike man-made fibres and cotton), so with an occasional shake and brush through, they will stay looking good for years. They are spot-cleanable, and many of them are machine-washable and brushable.
Some are from rare breed sheep (this helps support the continuation of farming these rare breeds), and they retain the original beauty of the natural markings of the sheep. We have been curating our collection of natural coloured sheepskins since 2008 and have longstanding relationships with the oldest British tanneries as well as the best of the new boutique and organic tanneries.
