Merino throws from The Wool Company are a sound investment. Enduring, luxurious, and versatile, this is a stunning collection of Merino and luxurious superfine Merino throws carefully sourced from expert manufacturers who are artisans in dealing with this superior wool.

Each piece will bring a source of comfort, elegance, and warmth to your home.

Merino wool is shorn from the Merino sheep at least once a year in flocks mainly found in Australia, New Zealand, and North America. They live free-range, usually on huge farms, where they graze over extensive areas and therefore live a fairly natural life.

The Merino sheep are renowned and sought after for their very long, and extremely fine fleece which is perfect for spinning into fine yarns. Much of the superfine Merino is as fine as the average cashmere fibre but its strength makes it far harder wearing.
