These sheepskins are extra large as they are from a Merino crossbreed from North America. They were fully grown sheep, which makes them a large size - they can cover about twice the area of a normal sheepskin. The fleece has been shorn down to 25mm so they are very easy to maintain.
Average size: 115 x 70 cm.
Spot cleaning is recommended but can be carefully machine washed if needed at 30c on a wool program ( subject to machine size )using wool-recommended detergent. Allow to dry naturally. The appearance may change if machine washed as these skins are highly polished (ironed), this is how the soft, silky finish is achieved. As with all dyed sheepskins, the colour may change after washing.
