These British-made lightweight blankets are perfect for use all year round. Woven with a cellular weave that provides warmth without the weight by trapping the air within the weave structure. Bound on all sides with a traditional wide, satin-style ribbon trim.
Available in very generous single to super king sizes, ideal for layering.
Manufactured for us by AW Hainsworth who have been making bed blankets in Bradford, England since 1828. These blankets are as traditional as you can get and are expected to last a lifetime. These blankets are branded 'The Wool Company'.
Please note that the sizes of these blankets are specified to correctly fit UK standard bed sizes that have full-depth mattresses. They are more generously sized than some "special offer" priced blankets you may find elsewhere, which are often under-sized.

Product Care
The manufacturer advises Professional Clean only.
Many of our customers carefully hand or machine wash their wool blankets on a cool wool setting at 30℃ using wool-approved detergent, with no spin allow to dry naturally.
Do not tumble dry.
There will always be some shrinkage after washing (usually up to around 6%)
N.B. Never use your regular laundry detergent on wool; even "gentle", or non-bio detergents usually contain bleach, which will ruin it.
