British-made Merino blanket finished with a whip stitch border. Similar to the Atkinson Duchess Merino blanket this is the same quality and weight but with a stitched hem rather than satin binding. The whipped binding gives the blanket a more modern look, the sewn finish makes it look a little less like a bed blanket so is easier to use around the house or to take camping for example.
Excellent blanket for the colder months or for layering up your bedding, or use on its own for the summer months as an alternative to a duvet.

The manufacturer advises Professional Clean only.
Many of our customers carefully hand or machine wash their Duchess Merino blankets on a cool wool setting at 30℃ using wool-approved detergent, with no spin allow to dry naturally.
Do not tumble dry.
There will always be some shrinkage after washing (usually up to around 6%)
N.B. Never use your regular laundry detergent on wool; even "gentle", or non-bio detergents usually contain bleach, which will ruin it.

Made in England by John Atkinson in Yorkshire. Merino wool from New Zealand Merino sheep.
Non-mulesed Merino: This wool is certified and independently audited as being shorn from sheep that have not been mulesed.
