"Pashmina" comes from the Persian word Pashm or Pashmineh meaning wool. However for many years it has been generally known as the finest wool (or hair) of a particular goat. Cashmere is the very softest, most luxurious fibre in the world to wrap yourself - or someone special in.
It comes from the coat of the Capra Hircus goat which is native to the Himalayas where the Nepalese and Kashmiris have been making cashmere shawls for thousands of years. We are very proud of our line of the very best cashmere pashmina scarves and shawls handmade in Nepal.
They are very soft, warm, light, silky and cloud-like in feel and look. We guarantee you won't find better quality anywhere (If you do we want to know about it!). Our pashminas are not cheap. But there is no such thing as a cheap pashmina. If you find a cheap pashmina anywhere it will not be pure cashmere and it might not be real even if it is expensive... Beware!
In the mean time be confident that we are one of the few suppliers who actually sell the real thing.
